Lemongrass Ginger Tea Recipe

Lemongrass ginger tea served with fresh ginger and lemongrass.
Make this homemade ginger lemongrass tea with fresh ginger, lemongrass, and honey. Enjoy it warm or pour it over ice.

Ingredients

  • 5 thin slices ginger
  • 2 stalks lemongrass
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons honey, add more or less to taste

Instructions

  • Lightly crush the lemongrass stalks with the side of a knife and slice the ginger.
  • Add the lemongrass, ginger, and water to a saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Strain into mugs, removing the ginger and lemongrass. Stir in the honey to taste and serve hot, or let cool and pour over ice.
