Best Clove Tea Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1 tbsp honey, see notes
  • 1 slice lemon, optional

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil in a pot on the stove.

  • Add the cloves and teabag to a teapot or heatproof container. Carefully pour the boiling water over the cloves in the teapot. Let it steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer the tea.
    3 tsp whole cloves, 1 black tea bag
  • Pour the clove tea into a cup. Sweeten with honey to taste and add a slice of lemon for extra flavor, if desired.
