Ingredients

  • 4 cloves of garlic, peeled
  • 5 chilies, adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Roughly pound garlic and chilies with a mortar and pestle.
  • Mix in the sugar, fish sauce, and fresh lime juice. Stir well.
  • Once the sugar has fully dissolved, sprinkle the sauce with chopped coriander.
